Plastic Roofs
Manufactured using GRP fibreglass - Property Improvements roofing systems provide many benefits over traditional felt flat roofs. We use GRP fibreglass because it’s a tough, durable, and versatile material which gives a superb performance. It is, quite simply, the best material for a flat roof installation or replacement, and with over 20 years experience, we are fully qualified to carry out your installation.

GRP is applied as a replacement for leaking traditional felt roofs which don’t have a long life span. They can be fitted in temperatures as low as 5c and all our work is carried out to a high standard by an experienced professional. GRP flat roofs provide many benefits….
- 40-year life expectancy on our flat roofs
- Will not leak
- No deterioration
- Roofs that are so strong you can walk on them
- Roofs that cannot be cut through, even with a sharp knife
- Fully insulated, ensuring rooms/conservatories stay cool in summer and warm in winter
- Add value to your property: whereas felt flat roofs are a liability, permanent GRP flat roofs are an asset

GRP is used to manufacture the hulls of boats. Boats are subject to permanent water pressure, numerous bumps and knocks, and all sorts of potential causes of damage. And yet, modern boat, yacht and ship manufacturers choose to use GRP for its strength, complete impermeability and structural integrity. If it’s good enough for the bottom of boats, it’s certainly good enough for anything the British weather can throw at it. Even in February in Yorkshire!
…and all for a similar price to a traditional, felted roof – but without the need to replace it once every few years, so if you want an Everest quality flat roof at a fraction of the cost come to us at Property Improvements.
